That officer grabbed the man in a bear hug and they brought him outside, where he reached into his waistband, pulling a .45 caliber Glock handgun, Camden said.

“He wouldn’t drop the gun,” Camden said. “The officer fired, defending himself and his partner.” The man, who police did not identify, was described in his 20s. Camden later said both officers fired, and the man was shot multiple times.
